Galobtce

About 4 days ago i came home after school, and as i opened the door my nose was hit with a familiar aroma. The sent was coming from the kitchen where a big pot of galobtce was waiting for me. Galobtce is a USSR based food that consists of a lettuce wrapped combination of rice, ground beef, grated carrots, herbs, and all of this is boiled in a tomato juice, herb and water combination of a sauce. This all slowly simmers in a a huge pot/kettle for about 35-45 minutes until the lettuce becomes understandably soft. After that serve them hot/warm and put some sour cream on the table because most people will prefer to eat it with sour cream. And that is my story of great food in my past week.
